How to take a screenshot on Huawei and Honor
Published
Menu names differ between software versions. If a path here does not match your phone, search your Settings app for the setting named in bold — it is the same setting under a different label.
Huawei and Honor phones both keep the knuckle gestures that came from EMUI, alongside the standard combination.
Buttons
Press Power and Volume Down together.
Knuckle knock
Knock the screen twice, quickly, with a single knuckle.
Enable it first: Settings → Accessibility features → Shortcuts and gestures → Take screenshot (on Honor, look under Settings → Accessibility features → Smart sensing).
Three-finger swipe
Swipe down the screen with three fingers, where your model supports it — same settings screen as the knuckle gesture.
A whole page, not just the screen
Knock and draw an S on the screen with your knuckle, then tap when the page has scrolled far enough. Or tap Scrollshot on the preview thumbnail.
Where it goes
Gallery → Albums → Screenshots.
